Christmas time...

I do wish all of you a Merry Christmas...I truly do...There are a lot of things that I am thankful for...mainly that the year is coming to a close...2011 was not kind to me and my family. A lot of things happened during the year that hurt...this Christmas...all I want is peace. Peace in the world, in my family, in my career, with my finances, and my business.

I look to 2012 to be the year of happiness and adventure. I hope it brings each of you good fortune and good news.

Thanks again for being a friend...Merry Christmas...

Friday...

Into another weekend. I do enjoy having a Friday off once in a while. I would like to thank a couple of certain individuals I ran into last weekend. They know who they are so I don't have to name names. I would like to thank you for being such...what's the word...morons...no, that's not it...jerks...no, still to nice. How about lower than life pond scum of the earth....well, I am getting closer. Someday here I will reveal their names and wish them a quick trip to hell.

I never said this blog was going to be peaches and cream...If you don't like my opinion, stop reading.

Been a while!

It has really been a while since I last wrote on the blog...I will say that this winter has been the coldest, snowiest winter I have seen in a long time. Mother nature is an evil woman! She teased us with a warm up in early February then slapped us with another cold snap. The girls are getting big! I will post pictures of them the next time I think about it.

So in 15 years of karaoke, I have never flat out told someone that they sucked...It happened two Saturdays ago. I have heard better sounds out of an outhouse! This guy was aweful. He made everyone in the bar uneasy...it was truly karaoke hell! People, if you cannot carry a tune, please don't sing!

Keep checking back, you never know when someone will rub me the wrong way!

Flatscreen?

Had a pretty great night last night. Won a Toshiba 32" flatscreen TV from Wave 104.1 in DL. Got to spend the night out with my wife and to be honest, we had a really great time. I don't have any real words of wisdom today, just that we all need to look for what is really valuable in life and hold onto it. Flatscreens will come and go, but family is forever.

Why do we offer people help who don't deserve it?

I should have taken a picture, but yesterday as Kennedy and I were stopping by La Barista for lunch, I noticed a relativley large woman on a scooter drive off the curb. She hit the snow and was instantly stuck. Feeling bad for her, I told Kennedy I would go help her and to hurry so she didn't get hit by a car. Immediatley as I got out of the car, she yelled for help. When I got over to her, NORMAL people would have gotten out of the scooter. This lady must have weighed 350 lbs. She sat her fat ass in the scooter smoking her cigarette while I put everything I had into the back of this 400 lbs scooter. I swear, I do what I can to help unfortunate people. But if YOU are extremely overweight, get off the damn scooter and walk your fat ass to the store and quit smoking for crying out loud. We cater to all of these morons who do nothing but work the system.
I think if you are on ANY type of assistance, you should only be allowed to be on that assitance for no more than 6 months. I mean really, anybody with an address can get a job at the local McDonalds. I am sick of supporting your bad habits.

New year!

I am starting my New Year's resolution a little early this year. It is the same, lose 50 lbs. I am taking a little different approach to it this year though. I am going in increments. If I can be 220 by July, I will be happy. I made my first shake this morning and it tastes ok. Nothing spectacular, but it will do. So far so good, I am not hungry.

2011 will be a year we will remember for ever...

Wow...

Coming off of a great weekend. Thanks to all who participated in sequel of the Hangover at the Ramada in Fargo. Everyone had an absolute blast.

I drove to Minneapolis, more importantly Lakeville. The snow and the roads were great until around Monticello. It took longer to get from Monticello to the Mall of America than it did getting from Detroit Lakes to Monticello. I have drivin in some of the worst garbage mother nature can throw at us. This one ranks in the top 20 I would guess.

Next, I want to wish anyone who reads this a very MERRY CHRISTMAS. I don't do the happy holidays because I don't celebrate Hanukka, Kwanza or any other holiday. I celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. AKA...Christmas. If you want to celebrate the previously mentioned, more power to you, but I refuse to say happy holidays. I don't get offended when someone says Happy Hanukka to me. So don't get offended when I tell you what I believe.

Hope everyone is safe tonight and warm.

Until next time...
Jarred
